It’s hard to sit back and watch our country divide the way it has. Just yesterday, I had a conversation with a coworker who claimed that our president is the one causing all this division. I had to stop him right there. That’s not what I see. That’s not what I feel in my gut. I believe the real source of division in this country is the far left—those pushing radical agendas, stirring unrest, rewriting truths, and tearing down values that once united us. These aren’t the voices of peaceful change. They are loud, angry, and intentionally disruptive.
Let me be clear: I don’t think this is just about “Democrats.” The Democratic Party today isn’t the Democratic Party many Americans grew up with. It’s not the party my father supported, that’s for sure. My dad was a Democrat his whole life. He believed the Democrats were the ones who stood up for the working man. And back then, maybe that was true. Maybe the Democratic Party once had a backbone and a heart for the people. But today? That party is gone. It’s been hijacked.
Now what we see is a party obsessed with identity politics, driven by race, gender, climate agendas, and open borders. It’s not about unity anymore—it’s about control. It’s about division. If you don’t agree with them, you’re the enemy. If you stand for traditional values, you’re outdated. If you believe in secure borders, you’re labeled a racist. It’s exhausting and dangerous.
I’ve been watching this shift for years, and every time I dig into the history, I see a pattern. The Democratic Party, particularly its radical elements, has a long track record of stirring unrest. Go back to the Civil Rights era—who stood against civil rights? Democrats. Who wanted to keep slavery? Democrats. Who formed the KKK? Democrats. People forget that history, or maybe they just don’t want to believe it. But it’s there.
Even during the 1960s, when the country was at another major breaking point, it was radical Democratic voices that led much of the unrest in the streets. Fast forward to now—same playbook, just a different generation. Riots in the name of justice, destruction in the name of equality, and endless blame games. They say they’re fighting for the people, but all I see is them fighting to stay in power.
And what’s more obvious than their obsession with staying in power is their strategy to flood the country with illegal immigration. That’s right—open borders. Not for compassion, not for safety, but for votes. Because the more people they bring in and promise free benefits to, the more votes they think they can secure. That’s not a theory. That’s the play. It’s not about fairness or freedom—it’s about control.
Just look at the Biden administration. Borders flung wide open. Law enforcement under attack. Military weakened. Morality confused. And the media? Silent. Or worse—complicit. The far left doesn’t want discussion. They want domination. And anyone who dares to speak out is censored, canceled, or discredited. This is not democracy. This is ideological tyranny.
Now don’t get me wrong. I’m not giving the Republican Party a free pass here either. I’ve seen too many Republicans sit on their hands, play politics, and fail to stand up for what’s right. They talk tough during elections, then fold when it matters. I don’t trust most of them either. The truth is, both parties have drifted away from the people. It’s become a club—a system that protects itself at the expense of the American worker, the family, and the Constitution.
Even Ronald Reagan, who stood as a beacon of conservative leadership, warned us decades ago that government wasn’t the solution—it was the problem. He saw it back then. Corruption. Overreach. Lies. And now, it’s all magnified. It’s not just a few bad actors in Washington anymore. It’s an entire system that has forgotten who it serves.
So where does that leave us? Divided. Confused. Angry. Afraid. Our country is breaking apart from within—not because of foreign enemies, but because of enemies inside the gates. We no longer know who to trust, what to believe, or where to turn. Churches are under attack. Families are under stress. And our freedoms feel more fragile every day.
This isn’t sustainable. You can’t keep pulling a nation apart and expect it to survive. Something has to give. Something has to change. And that change won’t come from another politician with polished speeches and empty promises. It won’t come from a party. It has to come from the people.
We need a restart. A reboot of this entire system. We need leaders—not career politicians—but real Americans who love this country more than they love their seat in Washington. We need values again. We need truth again. And we need unity—not forced unity through fear, but real unity based on shared values, faith, and freedom.
I’m just an everyday American. I don’t have a political science degree or a seat on any committee. But I know what I see. I see a country I love slowly being torn apart, not by some accident, but by intention. And I won’t sit quietly and pretend that’s okay. We must speak up. We must stand up. Because if we don’t, we’ll wake up one day and realize the America we once knew is gone.
And by then, it might be too late.
